Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information we collect when you send a project enquiry, why we collect it, where it is stored and how you can contact us about it. It describes the enquiry channel that is in operation on this website.

1. Information collected

When you send a project enquiry, the information you enter is collected: your name, company, business email address, country or region, WhatsApp or phone number, buyer type, product interest, estimated quantity and the project details you choose to describe. The privacy acknowledgement you give before submitting is recorded together with its timestamp.

A submission also records technical information about how it reached us: the full address of the page from which the form was submitted, the referring page when the browser supplies one, and the values of the utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign parameters when they are present in the page address.

The date and time of each enquiry submission are also automatically recorded by the system.

2. Purposes of collection

Enquiry information is collected so that we can review a project request, respond to the person who sent it, prepare a project-specific quotation, and keep a record of what was requested and what was confirmed.

The recorded privacy acknowledgement evidences that the person submitting the enquiry was informed about this handling before the enquiry was sent.

3. How information is used

Enquiry information is used to answer the enquiry and to conduct the resulting business discussion. It is not used for marketing messages, and no newsletter, customer relationship management system, advertising pixel or profiling tool is configured on this site.

When a new enquiry is recorded, the website platform sends a notification email to our internal mailbox at sales@irislunzhi.com. That notification contains the enquiry details submitted through the form, so that our team can follow up promptly. It is an internal message: it is not sent to the customer and it does not add anyone to a mailing list.

4. Data storage and access

A submitted enquiry is written to the private enquiry database of this website, which is provided by the website building and hosting platform described in section 5. The public website can only send an enquiry: it provides no public enquiry listing, no public read access and no shareable link to an individual enquiry.

Enquiry records are read and managed only by authorised staff, through the account-authenticated administration area of the site. Enquiries are not sent to any external marketing, advertising or CRM service.

5. Service providers

This website and its enquiry database are hosted on the Alibaba Cloud website building platform used to operate this site. That platform stores the site files and the enquiry records on our behalf and provides the administration area used to read them.

The same platform's email service delivers the new-enquiry notification email described in section 3 to our internal mailbox. We have not configured a separate external email marketing, newsletter or CRM provider.

We have not configured any other third-party processor for this website. Enquiry details are not sold and are not shared for marketing purposes.

6. International data transfers

This website and its enquiry database are deployed on the mainland China node of the Alibaba Cloud website platform that operates this site. If you send an enquiry from outside mainland China, your enquiry is transferred to and stored on that node in mainland China so that we can receive and answer it.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Enquiry records are retained while the enquiry and any resulting business discussion remain active, and afterwards for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain an accurate record of the commercial relationship.

When an enquiry is marked as deleted in our administration system, an internal status field is updated to indicate that it has been marked as deleted. The underlying record remains stored in the database. This action does not itself permanently erase the database record or trigger automatic deletion.

The hosting platform provides a separate recycle-bin function for data deleted through its content-management feature. Data placed in that recycle bin may be restored or permanently deleted, and the platform states that items remaining there for more than 30 days are automatically cleared. However, we cannot confirm that enquiries marked as deleted through our administration system are transferred to that recycle bin. The platform's 30-day recycle-bin rule therefore does not apply to those records unless they are separately deleted through the relevant content-management function.

Our system is configured to send a notification email to our internal mailbox when a new enquiry is submitted. Any CSV export we create is a separate file. These copies are not automatically deleted when an enquiry is marked as deleted in the administration system and must be handled separately by our team.

We do not claim that marking an enquiry as deleted permanently removes every copy of the information. If you have a question about the retention or deletion of your enquiry information, please contact us using the details in Section 10.

8. Cookies, logs and technical data

This site does not set analytics cookies, advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and no third-party analytics product is installed.

As with any hosted website, the hosting platform may record standard technical logs for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting, such as the IP address, browser type, request time and requested address. These logs are used for operating the site and are not used to build visitor profiles.

9. Your Rights

You may ask what enquiry information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete your enquiry. Send your request to the email address in Section 10. We will respond within a reasonable period after confirming that the request relates to your enquiry.

When we receive a deletion request, we will review it and, where appropriate, mark the enquiry as deleted in our administration system by updating its internal status field. As explained in Section 7, this action does not permanently erase the underlying database record or trigger automatic deletion.

We will separately delete the notification email copy in our internal mailbox and any CSV export containing the enquiry, where applicable. These copies require separate manual handling.

We will inform you of the actions taken in response to your request. We do not claim that marking an enquiry as deleted permanently removes the database record or every other copy of the information.
