About
About Lunzhi Home Furniture
A Shanghai-based OEM & ODM partner for upholstered furniture buyers — working from buyer drawings, references and confirmed specifications rather than a fixed stock range.
Who we are
A partner, not a catalogue
Lunzhi Home Furniture is a Shanghai-based business focused on OEM and ODM solutions for upholstered furniture buyers. We are set up around buyer programmes: the product is defined by your brief, your references and the specification you confirm, not by a catalogue you have to choose from.
That means the starting point is what the item has to be, how it should sit, what it is covered in, and how it needs to be packed and labelled for your market. Where a requirement cannot be met within a project, we say so before production rather than after it.
We work with furniture retailers, wholesalers, distributors and importers to develop upholstered furniture based on their designs, references and confirmed specifications.
What we focus on
One material category, followed closely
Our work stays within upholstered furniture, across five main product categories. Each one is developed against a buyer’s own design direction, so the same category can be produced differently from one project to the next.
Custom Sofas
Sofas developed from buyer drawings, reference images and confirmed dimensions.
Modular Sofas
Modular upholstered seating configurations, subject to project design and confirmed specifications.
Lounge Chairs
Upholstered lounge chairs with options discussed to project requirements.
Ottomans & Footstools
Upholstered ottomans and footstools in different shapes and configurations.
Other Upholstered Furniture
Other upholstered items, where the project fits our capabilities and the supply chain can be confirmed.
Who we work with
Buyers who develop their own range
Our buyers plan their own assortment and need production to follow a defined specification. Our buyers are typically retailers, wholesalers, distributors and importers, alongside commercial and project buyers sourcing for a specific brief.

How we work
From your references to a confirmed specification
We work from buyer-provided drawings, reference images, dimensions and project specifications. Each brief is reviewed against what can actually be produced, open questions are raised early, and the details that apply to the project are confirmed before production begins.
The confirmed specification then becomes the working reference for production and for any sampling that applies to the project, so later questions are settled against a defined starting point rather than a recollection of the original brief.
What we work from
- 01Drawings or technical sketches of the item
- 02Reference images or a sample you already produce
- 03Dimensions and the proportions that matter most
- 04Material, fabric or leather direction
- 05Estimated quantity per item and colour
- 06Packaging, labelling and shipping-mark requirements
The more of this is available at enquiry stage, the more specific the response can be.
Customisation scope
What gets reviewed per project
Depending on the requirements of the project, the following areas can be reviewed and confirmed. None of them is automatically available for every project.
Dimensions and proportions
Overall sizes, seat height, depth and back proportions are set against the project brief.
Frame construction and seating support
Frame material and support structure are agreed per project before production.
Foam and filling
Firmness and layering are discussed according to the intended market and use.
Fabric and leather options
Material direction is confirmed with the buyer; availability depends on the project.
Colour and finish
Colour and surface finish are agreed against confirmed references.
Legs, bases and hardware
Leg profiles, base types and hardware finishes are discussed per design.
Private labels and care labels
Label content, placement and format are agreed before production.
Packaging and shipping marks
Carton, labelling and shipping-mark requirements are coordinated with the buyer.
All options are subject to project requirements, supplier availability and confirmation.
See how OEM and ODM cooperation differOur approach
Clear specifications, coordinated projects, checked production
Most of the risk in upholstered furniture sits in what was never written down. We work to keep the specification, the project and the checks aligned.
Clear specification communication
Requirements, changes and confirmations are kept explicit and referenced, so both sides work from the same description of the product rather than an assumption.
Project coordination
Open points, sampling where it applies, and packing requirements are tracked against the agreed scope for the project, and anything unresolved is raised before production starts.
Quality checks
Checks are carried out during production and before packing, based on buyer-approved specifications and, where applicable, the approved sample.
